A Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement (QSEHRA) allows a nanny or other household employee to purchase ACA compliant health insurance coverage on the exchanges, and be reimbursed for some or all costs on a tax free basis.
- There are annual reimbursement limits
- Health insurance plans must be Affordable Care Act compliant, so purchase on the exchange.
- Other qualified expenses such as prescription drugs are covered too
- YOU MUST HAVE A PLAN DOCUMENT AND REIMBURSEMENT FORM.
